AARP Health Care Options* offers a selection of health insurance plans exclusively
to AARP members ages 50 to 64 and their spouses, even if under the age of 50. These
health plans range from comprehensive plans to supplemental, lower-cost indemnity
(fixed cash payment) plans, forming a continuum of premium and benefit levels designed
to provide our members access to health insurance benefits for every need and budget.

AARP Essential Plus Health Insurance Plan
An enhanced indemnity (or fixed cash benefit) plan that offers a lower-cost alternative
to traditional primary health plans. This plan is not a major medical plan, yet
offers substantial fixed cash payments for covered hospital inpatient and clinical
outpatient services and procedures, lowering your total out-of-pocket medical expenses
on:
